Aliasing misty_(pokemon) → misty_(pokémon)
Link to alias
Reason:
I'm suprised this isn't already aliased
Who wants to have to go out of their way to find that accented e?

+1. That acute accented e is always trouble.

+1. A lot of pokemon tags are in need of the accented é alias tbh, but here's the more popular ones.

We seem to have people manually moving these over, which I consider quite rude. It's impossible for many users to type accents like the é, which means we can only search for tags such as cynthia_(pokemon) and wind up finding little to no images.
Just wait for the tags to get aliased, rather than manually fixing them, please!

I approved / added all of those aliases, safe for pokemon_sun_and_moon to pokémon. Do we actually want to alias that one away?

I wouldn't mind it if it was used for something specific to the games, IE official art from Sun and Moon specifically.
As of now it's just tagged on species/character introduced but not exclusive to sun and moon, which imho would be the same as tagging gen 1 introduced pokemon/characters with "pokemon red and blue", etc
Personally I don't feel it warrants a particular use, but that's just me.

We don't have anything for pokemon red and blue, pokemon gold and silver, pokemon ruby and sapphire, pokemon diamond and pearl, pokemon black and white, or pokemon x and y. I don't see any reason to have a tag for sun and moon, either.

Agreed tbh. I wouldn't mind it if it had specific use in like, official art or something. But really it was a tag used during the game's first reveal and the first pieces made of the games, and weren't really necessary.

I would argue that it was necessary at the time, but has outlived it's usefulness :)

Fair enough that yeah, they had a reason for temporarily existing, but yeah not entirely necessary now.
Maybe we should coin a content tag for brand new pokemon content or something? Or a general, temporary tag for spoilers/new stuff? Idk, that may be a bit of a vague tag, but could have its temporary uses in cases like these.

I think... I think thing-specific spoilers tags are a good idea -- pokemon_sun_and_moon for example. It's totally possible that a franchise could have two new things coming out at once, and you don't care about one while caring a lot about the other. .....
but over all, I think it should depend on the franchise in question -- a TV show, and a fan translated anime and a video game are very different critters, in terms of what their spoiler-needs are.
Over all, I dunno. I think sun_and_moon is probably fine though, and delete it after a couple months, when everyone's probably played the game and has memorized the names of all their favorites or whatever.
idk.

Could we just have stuff like this (or currently stuff like super_smash_bros._ultimate) exist temporally and have it implicate the spoiler tag and then clear the tag out later on? Just being able to blacklist a single tag and not having to worry about seeing any spoilers would be really nice.
I guess we should probably move this discussion to another thread... but I don't even know which category a thread discussing something like this would go... :\
