Topic: Tag Alias: rolling_(artist) -> rokuyon

Would you kindly stop removing the tags from artists you intend to alias away? The act of aliasing will do that for you, and people may wonder why posts were tagged rolling_(artist) to begin with...

And -1, we shouldn't be aliasing away site-recognized suffixes. I'm more for a rolling_(disambiguation) page: there are several acts involving rolling (usually beings or entities), and they're different enough (IMO) to not deserve an umbrella tag. It wouldn't be hard to include the artist named rolling and which name to use.

Besides, what happens when another artist named rolling appears?

You have some very good points.

I was lost in translation when I made the rolling_(artist) tag, I literally translated rokuyon (except.. the moonrunes version of it) and it translated to the word Rolling, so I assumed that was the artist's name.

If another artist comes up, using the name Rolling, then sure, this tag can be for him.

Lastly, when I suggest aliases for artists, I usually do it for future cases while I'm already manually doing the change. If it is preferred (especially by the higher-ups) that I don't do this, then I will gladly stop.

In this case, There is no longer a need for this alias at this time.
