Not every deodorant brand has an animated spokesperson or a toy based on that spokesperson, and we think we’ve figured out why.It's pretty obvious that oldspice explicitly created this mascot to cater to furries considering his general proportions and design. What do y'all think of him? I'm surprised not much content has been made of him but I expect some to show up soon.

Looks like they wanted something toony over some guy in a towel. I doubt this guy was designed to cater to furries any more than most other animal mascots before him.

True true, but considering the wording of their introduction involving him and how old spice in general is notorious for catering to online humor/demographics... I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if this was direct catering to a furry demographic.

The original guy is the best.

Pretty sure this is simply extending what their advertising department has been doing for years now. So like facelessmess kinda already said, they catered to furries, they knew exactly what they were doing and it is working.
