Does anybody else feel like this site is too easy to get in trouble on? I've gotten to the point where I'm not even sure if I'm breaking the rules right NOW, just for talking about them! Also, I'm starting to suspect that one of the Admins are practically stalking my account. It's either that, or this particular Admin is inhumanly good at his given function.

Ratte pretty much is the dedicated ticket handler (I don't know if by will or lack thereof). Getting a record, or even just a ticket handled by another admin, is an uncommon event.

Well, even STILL! I have no doubt in my mind that he's watching these exact texts right now. I mean, he's doing a good job, but I honestly feel like I'm being stalked by a spiteful vulture, ready to attack me the moment I let out the wrong kind of sneeze.

Users submit tickets, and Ratte & co. handle them. Amongst my time checking tickets, I do not see records given spontaneously that isn't from a ticket or intentional goading (excluding events involving ban evasions or vote cheating). Such tickets I do see these occur, I can trace it back to an admin saying they're keeping an eye on the situation.

I put heavy emphasis that the users are the poetic backstabbers, the admins don't bother with users when they don't need to. Ratte occupies IRC and and comments on her own art, for starters. Other admins do their own thing, this site is not a job for them and they don't treat it as such.

I'll admit that was a questionable choice, and I wasn't actually aware that the voting system really meant anything besides abstract measures of egotistical perception, but I'm referring to more along the lines of the accidental posting abuse. I know I didn't read the DNP List, and I know the rules are essential to keeping this site sufficient and orderly. I'm just saying, it's been difficult keeping track of the constant, unending rules that are all too easy to stumble across breaking. Unless the voting system has something ELSE that I'm not aware of that actually gives a certain function. Of which I'd not be surprised of, at this point.

I dunno, I was kinda baffled about some people liking something that I find utterly bizarre and senseless on some thread, but I decided to stop the discussion by "okay, I don't care anymore" about it because of fear I might be in shadow of ban hammer for, I dunno, judging people too hard and describing the thing as "dumb". Seems like I'll be fine, but I'm still unsure to what open and civilized level I can discuss similar topic about without people getting angry at me for my opinions, and then getting admins involved.

That's exactly my point! The rules preserve order pretty well on this site, but at the cost of unfamiliar people walking on eggshells ALL THE TIME! If you haven't been here for a full year, you're more likely to get screwed over.

A bit of honest advice: your stepping on eggshells feeling will subside if you spend time with the site users. I'll get into more detail later, gotta BRB.

I feel like the rules are strict, but not like it's easy to get in trouble. And I don't count getting a Neutral as "trouble". It's nothing more than a nudge in the right direction. It's your own responsibility to read and understand site rules.

When tagging, I understand the feeling. However, tagging is something that's very central to how this site works and is experienced by its users. All I can recommend here is to take care that you're tagging correctly, fix any mistakes you made, don't change anything that you're not sure about.

I'mregistered since 2012 and I have never gotten into real trouble. I'm never doing anything stupid and I allways listento admis simple as that.

I've only been active for about 8 months. I swear constantly, make offensive jokes and lock horns with people frequently. These eggshells you speak of have hardly affected me yet but that could be because I have a thick skin.

Only if you don't follow the rules is it easy to get in trouble.
Rule of the thumb, go to the rules, read em', follow em', you won't get in trouble.

It's pretty easy not to get in trouble imho. Just post good content, tag what's showing in the image and treat and act towards others how you would to a person in real life.

I've never gotten in any real trouble here and I don't even need to particularly try not to. Just relax and don't do shady shit, like vote manipulation and using alts, its not a competition you know :p
