Reason:

Too subjective.
Mostly posts that belong in monster. Plus some generic gore and such. Several cases of users tagging this, when they should've just used blacklist instead.

EDIT: The tag alias grotesque -> grotesque_(disambiguation) (forum #233838) has been rejected by @Rainbow_Dash.

Maybe it could be aliased to more generalized theme tag, like horror or macabre? We have really broad tags like sci-fi and steampunk already.

Wouldn't be a good idea. A lot of posts which should instead be tagged as monster would then end up in other tags and we wouldn't find them.

I'm almost certain there's some kind of video game monster called a Grotesque,but I could be wrong.
