Implicating mise_en_abyme → droste_effect
Link to implication

Reason:

Mise en abyme describes images that contain smaller instances of itself. The Droste effect describes something similar with the distinction between both expression often being vague.

We could either alias them to one another or have mise_en_abyme cover only cases where an image strictly contains itself (or a variation of itself) while droste_effect could cover all the other uses of that effect, including fractal images and animations, to create a clearer distinction.

Mise en abyme (self-containing) :

Droste effect (fractal) :

Currently, images illustrating those effects are spread across a number of other tage such as infinity, divide_by_zero and i_can_see_forever.

EDIT: The tag implication mise_en_abyme -> droste_effect (forum #218829) has been rejected by @NotMeNotYou.
