Topic: I just put up an update for LEWD, Alpha 2 Release-Candidate 1. I have some keys to give out so you can test and give feedback

Posted under Off Topic

Key: E621-0000-0000-0000 (50 uses)
You can redeem it on your account page and then play on the main server.

If you redeem a key, please report any issues you find to help make the Alpha 2 release as bug free and polished as possible.

The main server currently has less content than the test server while we figure out what content is polished and "complete" enough to move over to the main server. And there's surely going to be some changes to what's there, I know there's a few too many large blocks of text that need to be broken up, for starters. When the Alpha 2 release is finalized, there should be a near parity for the content for that time, similar to how it went with Alpha 1.

1. i'd buy a key if i had the money (maybe)

and 2. i am still not and hopefully never will be reduced to the status of beggar for anything.

i feel that offering this one key here is just as insulting as the last time you did so since you know full well it'll have been used up and expired within an hour if not less time. and then anyone interested will be forced to either pay up or start begging. it's a sickening setup you have going on.

I remember the last time a bunch of people here also responded to tell you that your "reasoning" and attacks were absurd. But I guess you felt the need to reiterate anyway.

Kind of odd that you immediately went and attacked Sadako when there's no way the keys had been taken yet.

well excuse me for being offended by thought of having to beg people and hope for a chance, that may never even happen, to play a game. sorry for preferring either paid or free access rather than semi-paid where some people pay for access then everyone else has to go around asking for handouts to get access.

the fact the keys only allow limited uses before expiring also doesn't help that. besides, once a key is used up it's back to asking others to donate another key so you can keep playing (or simply never close the game out but that's not very good either). also, what incentive do paying users even have to share keys aside from feeling/being charitable?

it just doesn't strike me as a good or nice setup in general, that's all.

No one has been required to beg. In fact, I don't give them out to beggars.

I give a set amount out unsolicted when milestones are hit, and to people that have the oldest registered accounts, since that's even and fair.

Your opinion of the set up is short sighted and you just seem to be a spiteful person.

Any reason they wish to, or to not to. It's not for you to police to reasoning and actions of others. Just like how no one that gets a free extra copy of a game on Steam has to find someone to give it to. They can just let it sit in their inventory unused. No one gets to angrily shake them down and demand they give it away.

I made another big update, Alpha 2 Release Candidate 2.

And that key still has a lot of uses on it, actually.
