Flagging Confusion

In category: Art Talk

So what if an artist/member has no furry/scalie content in their art, and decides to post it here on e621? Assuming there's obviously a reason to remove it, what reason should I select in order to flag it for deletion?

You don't, irrelevance to site is only removed by staff members and, because of past tense abuse, was removed as a flag option.

You may also find relevant images that are not furry/scalie/marine/avian/shelled. Tentacles, undead, humanoids, robots, the scope or relevance is greater than what you listed.

Long story short: don't fuck with flagging an image if there is no appropriate flag, only a staff member can act on irrelevance.

There actually was one case quite recently where artist who has contributor level on the site, decided to post human only artwork and their contributor level made it so it was autoapproved and thus not showing up in queue.

In these kind of cases, please be in contact with staff directly, as that's abuse of tools they have been given and may require other actions outside of just deleting the image.

If it hasn't been approved yet, someone will eventually get to the post and delete it accordingly. If the image was approved by someone and it's clearly something that's againts our human irrelevancy guideline, be in contact with the approver directly.

But like Siral said, if there's no option to flag image for something, don't. This is abuse of the flagging tools and can give your account records.

Well I'm glad I didn't take action then. Thanks for the info!

If their work is human only, just add the tag human only.
