Common sense is part of patriarchy. Why do you think feminists hate it so much?

Is belting animals with the ugly stick considered a form of animal abuse?

That "Found a Great Site for Upscaling" thread was pretty facepalm worthy

What happened there? It looks like dwarfism in reverse.

good grief... it seems there are some people in the comments of those "washing machine destruction" videos i brought up in the "happy" thread the other day suffer from a lepepper form of delusion. and by that i mean some people think washing machines, of all things, are living animals... and apparently those videos are of animal cruelty.

and my reward for questioning this case of delusion? i get called an insensitive bigot. (just pointing it out is all. i really don't care what that kind of person calls me.)

i...don't think that qualifies as...well, maybe if i was saying that to a religious person it'd qualify as bigotry but that's not the case... this time. regardless, delusions such as this are never anything more than cringey.

Are you sure they weren't just joking? Usually someone complaining about that will at least make up who you're apparently bigoted against and how this fictional bigotry exists. Sounds like you were just trolled by people taking advantage of Poe's Law.

CNN Caught Stage-Managing Scene in London Aftermath

o_O damn CNN...

this is pretty much the definition of "fake news", right?

People who've made finite schedules and do not meet said schedule. Being so devout to my WoW guild's DnD campaign, I had sat and waited for 3 hours in an idle Discord room on our server, watching as our DM and various members log on and off inconsistently.

But what truly made me facedesk was one member, whom was online throughout the time, saying that they didn't know we were gonna try it today... despite the message being on screen from Thursday.

Patience is also a curse, and not just a blessing.

Wow...they are just sooooooo dumb. It's like they're still living in a time where they controlled everything. I mean imagine this same situation just 20 years ago. It would probably go something like this:
Whistle-blower: "Hey! I saw you staging that fake rally! I'm gunna expose you to the world!"
CNN: "Oh yeah? How exactly? We control everything...no one will ever believe you!"

Now:
Whistle-blower: "Hey! I saw you staging that fake rally! I'm gunna expose you to the world!"
CNN: "Oh yeah? How exactly? We control everything...no one will ever believe you!"
Whistle-blower: "I just posted the video to Twitter and now literally everyone on the planet knows about your bullshit."
CNN: "Well...fuck."

and with every event like this, Mark Dice's like/Dislike ratio improves and his "views" and subscribers increase while CNN keeps trying to kill itself.

the world has changed CNN and you no longer understand how it works.

You can understand why CNN was trying to do this. They knew people were going to be outraged over the latest attack and they were hoping their bs demonstration would quell some of the anger. But instead they get caught staging it and look like a bunch of idiots, which angers people even more. Who ever thought the mobile telescreens (smartphones) would make it harder for the Ministry of Truth to push their bs.

Anti-Furries

I have yet to meet an anti-furry that isn't an ignorant braindead egdelord.
I find it cringy how they're trying to act all badass by using memes and trying to scare us with their dark, violent, edgy texts about killing and torturing.

*cough* 9gag *cough*

LoL
I cringe more, when someone is so "offended" by memes and such lol.
"OMG FURRIES, THEY TRY TO SCARE US. SHOW THAT THEY CAN'T STOP OUR LOVE"
And also, posting furry porn on 9gag... dafuq?
This is way more cringy.

My favourite. I cringe everytim.

I also "love" videos with some revelations like flat earth, no gravitation and that kind of pseudo-science bullshit.

Have a nice day guys :)

When I saw the title of the video (Rarity Phone Call), I was expecting someone to make a phone call to some stranger while imitating Rarity's voice. I am so disappointed.

I wonder if voice actors ever do that, call people up and put on a character's voice? I know Charles Martinet sometimes conducts interviews in Mario's voice.

I've seen stuff like this
I think McCree does this too.

Woman Suing Trump for Blocking Her on Twitter!!

someone blocking you on shitter in NO way affects your first amendment right to free speech. doesn't matter who blocks you or why.

i cannot comprehend the thought process behind this level of stupidity, nor can i think of any words to suitably describe it at the moment.

Just imagine how many people could sue Steve Shives for this very reason.

and speaking of stupid things...

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 Outed - IGN News

could someone please explain to me why people keep paying for this kind of crap? you're paying crapcom up to $60 to emulate video games they haven't made in years for you when you could do the exact same thing for free within a matter of minutes on a pc.

there are 2 words for this: gullible stupidity

things like this really just hammer home the fact that PC is 100% superior to consoles and handhelds.

oh, you guys have those games on PS4? well, i've had them on my pc for the past decade or so...for free. so...why are you paying for this?

Because doing the exact same thing for free within a matter of minutes on a PC is illegal. Sure, $60 is a steep price to pay (assuming that's what they're gonna charge, which they might not) but you should be paying something for it (and "time" doesn't count).

Also, if you've already got the games then getting another version of them is almost pointless. This would mainly be for people who didn't/couldn't play the games when they first came out and don't want to go the piracy route.

I bought Mega Man the original through VIrtual Console and it was deleted remotely and the license revoked after the Wii U came out. Same with Majora's Mask, Phantasy Star, TLoZ, and Final Fantasy. This isn't selling. It's holding for ransom.

Wow. I absolutely hate Trump, and even I have to take his side there.

This "Suing Trump for Twitter Blocking" seemed too ridiculous to be real, so I decided to look into it.

Now, maybe the Mark Dice guy goes into this information, and if so, I apologize for being redundant, but quite honestly I can't stand the guy's presentation and voice.

So, the argument goes like this: Because some white house officials (Sean Spicer) have claimed that Trump's twitter is an official public source, it ought to be regulated by the same rules that regulate other official public sources like city halls and the like. Those rules prohibit blocking someone purely for expressing a contrary opinion.

Now, this argument would still seem somewhat ridiculous to me, except for one reason: There does appear to be legal precedent. In the case of Davidson v. Loudoun County it was determined that the Facebook page of the County Supervisor could not block people for expressing their views, and such would be a violation of the First Amendment.

So yeah, they might actually have a shot at winning this, if they play their cards right. Rather interesting.

To me, the idea is ridiculous. Blocking someone on twitter doesn't stop them from expressing an opinion, it stop the blocker from hearing it. It's basically self-inflicted deafness, the digital equivalent of covering your ears when someone speaks.
